Copper Mountains
These mountains have high peaks that are snowed in most of the year. somewhere not too far from where the snowline is, several caves constitute the entrance to the largest copper mine of the Empire. From here hails most of the copper that is traded and used in the Empire.
The climate is also ideal for the rapid growth of many varieties of trees that are felled by workers who have created small settlements that pockmark the South side of the mountain range.
Underneath the Copper Mountains, the Glimmerhalls house the largest Dwarven settlement of this part of the continent, but they keep to themselves and rarely interact with the folks who make a living of the surface of the steep mountains, to the point that not every lumberjack, trapper or mine worker is aware of the existence of the caves, hidden deep beneath even the largest copper mine.
The imposing mountain range also constitutes a natural border separating western Vexanta from The Senecharian Conglomerate.
