Anatomy

This monkey like folk is covered in short, soft fur and stands slightly shorter than the average human, with the women being even shorter than the men. They are well adapted to their tree top homes, have a long, prehensile tail and hand-like feet to help them maintain their grip on branches as they traverse the canopy. This active lifestyle means that most individuals are lean but muscular.

Biological Traits

Agile and nimble, Vanaras are excellent climbers.

Ecology and Habitats

Native to the warm forests and lush jungles of the 'Beast Continent', Vanaras live high in the trees, similar to the Wood Elves of Tamerea. They carve their dwellings into the trees, but leave them relatively open to the elements, and connect the dwellings to each other using bridges and ladders.
