This terrifying folk is thankfully extremely rare, and their origins are murky. Some believe that the Scylla was created by the 'Ancient Ones' to guard the coastlines, while others believe that they were women that were cursed.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Scylla anatomy has been described as being absolutely monstrous. Their upper body resembles a normal humanoid but that is where the similarities ends. Their waist is encircled by 6 wolf heads attached to relatively long necks, and below that is 12 writhing tentacles.

Ecology and Habitats

Scylla prefer shallow waters near the coastline, and often have lairs tucked away in the cliffs near the sea.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Scylla are known to hunt a variety of sea creatures, but their favorites seem to include dolphins and sailors. They are a scourge along shipping lines, and ships that go out without protection run a massive risk of being attacked by a hungry scylla.
