Myth of the Storyteller

The world is filled with various gods, spirits and stories of how the world came to be, and while the existence of these gods and spirits is as real as dragons and magic, the stories are so wildly different that some believe none are true. A small group of individuals believe that there is something bigger in play, something to due with the elusive 'The Three'.

Summary

Some scholars have come up with the theory that the world was created not by one of the known gods/spirits, it's not an unhatched egg, or geode, or anything that has been proposed so far. Instead they believe that the world was created by a being that they call 'The Storyteller'. Their theory goes that before the world existed there was a being. This being was surrounded by nothingness and eventually became bored. To entertain themselves they closed their eyes and came up with stories to tell themselves, ones that were filled with hope, love, despair, terror, and more. The being had an eternity to imagine the places, people, and histories that were needed to weave their stories into a single creation. When the being opened their eyes they were surprised to find that the nothingness was now filled with stars and planets. Places where their stories could come true. Before them was the planet they had imagined most of their stories would take place on, still young. So excited they were with their creation, that it took them a moment to realize that there was still so much they had had to learn of their creation, for when they opened their eyes they had left so many concepts barely touched. While fascinated by these unknowns, they worried that their stories may be altered as a result. To make sure their stories still happened as imagined, the being created 3 gods to help make sure the stories still took place, and gave them each a book filled with their stories. At this point the being grew tired, for creating everything had been exhausting. They found a place to rest, where they have been to this day, watching as their creation played out.
