Utility

These weapons were believed to have been created to kill large, aggressive creatures such as True Dragons . While they are still used for this purpose in modern day Tamerea they are also used in armies and by the upper class as both a deterrent from other folk and as a status symbol.

Manufacturing

The process of creating new 'magitech guns' has long been lost with the 'Ancient Ones' though that hasn't stopped folk from trying to create their own. So far results have been rather, explosive.

Social Impact

These weapons are highly sought after, especially by governments wishing to arm their soldiers with lighter and more dangerous weapons. Many civilians view them as a highly dangerous weapon, and tend to avoid those that wield these.

These weapons are very rare due to their trade being heavily regulated and that no new 'magitech guns' are being created.

Discovery

These weapons have been found in 'A.O.' ruins scattered throughout Tamerea, though were originally discovered in some ruins in the Firadas Prairie.
