The Celestial Conclave

The Celestial Conclave are orders of angels and celestials that awnser directly to their creator, Asherah. They are a three teired order that often advise the Dawnflower and are in charge of lesser celestials. There are many other denizens of celestial peoples or beasts in the upper planes but below are the powerful orders that are entrusted with leadership.

The Seraphim

Powerful archangels that answer directly to each other and Asherah, the other two orders and all lesser celestials answer to them. They also have been known to effect mortal politics on Andorra, especially those of the aasimar, who often are their mortal descendants. Archangels are often known for certain behaviors or domains.

Hermes - The archangel of joy and emotion. He is often attributed with well meaning mischief, music, art, travel, curiosity, and luck. Hermes often acts as the messenger of the heavens.

Azariel - The Archangel of life and rebirth. She is often attributed with love, forgiveness, and healing

Raphael - The Archangel of war, defense, and order. He is often depicted as a paladin with a lit censor for a flail and holding a large tower shield. Very commonly respected or worshiped by knights, guards, and paladins.

Tamiel - The Archangel of reason. She is often stands in judgement over her charges and as an arbiter with her equals, and holds a special love for scholarly traditions and is often compared to her devil counterpart Abbadon because like him she is a gifted negotiator.

Ariel - The Archangel of magic and mysteries. Keeper of the heavenly libraries, She has knowledge of all creation. There are very few things unknown to her.

Bahamut - A member of the first brood of dragons to ever exist, and the father of all metallic dragons. Bahamut is not an archangel, or even an angel. Regardless he is every bit as powerful as his fellow council members in the Seraphim. The great platinum dragon concerns himself with judgement, justice, and the protection of the innocent.

The Virtues

The Virtues are powerful celestial beings. They include the Solar, a powerful type of angel often used as wardens and generals. Sometimes Solars will attend to a god directly, as they are second in power only to the Seraphim. Next in the virtues are the Empyrean, direct descendants of gods (which are few). The Virtues make up a lower council that work along side the Seraphim in advising the heavens.

The Principalities

The lowest order of celestials. These include various archons, angels, and planetars. These celestials are more often the ones that inact the will of higher angelic orders. They sometimes guard over the realms of mortals on behalf of the Seraphim. They very often are found in Elysium watching after souls or heavenly beasts
