The Human Expansion begins

Population Migration / Travel

5019

The period of Human expansion across The North and The East of the continent. The Elves continue to develop their cities and towns but become slightly more focused on military and developing a properly formed army.

The 80 year period began after the College Accords, with the Humans founding several towns like Springmount, Carhill and Leelside in the South, along with settlements like Snowmelt and Craghar in the North. It was also during this period that the first idea of a 'Household' or later 'House' was developed, where a family would have an estate or large manor as well as leadership over a small, or sometimes quite substantial, area of land. After the death of Yarri the influential leaders decided that they needed to have a King, and it was unanimous that Yarri's son should take over, meaning that the human crown was formed. It was Yarri's last command to have a sword made that would be the royal symbol, it was emblazoned with gems and was incredibly precious, the sword was to be passed from King to King, making sure all who would rule after Yarri would swear to protect the Humans.   Several years into the expansion the Humans began to formalise their religion, which up to this point had been beliefs at most. The Sek was born and began to write the stories from their races culture. Their places of worship the Sekirke became common around the Human settlements and Sekants became a very important position for a Human to have. It was also during this time that the town of Arbor became a human settlement, as the Elves decided to move away and into the new town of Goldside.   The Elvish leadership started to grow their army, realising that the Humans had a much larger proportion of their population able to fight. The Elves had very few of their people willing or able to fight, so they began to train more and start to forge weapons and armour for many of them.
