Commander Malcolm Shepard
Malcolm Shepard was born on earth in the polity of United Kingdom. He was an orphan and ran with a street gang until he was 8 years old. At this time he ran into Sir Argyll Cade while trying to pick his wife's Baroness Mylinda Cade pocket. The boy was successful and began to ran. He did not get far as Sir Argyll himself was very fast and was working in tandem with his body guards. When surrounded the young boy was ready to fight and even charged Sir Argyll. He landed a blow even! Before his guards could respond Sir Argyll Cade ordered the boy unharmed and captured.
Sir Argyll took on the boy as his ward. It was a rough few months, but eventualy Malcolm Shepard came to appreciate the family. Malcolm was as much a prodigy as the Cade Twins. Both due to Shepard's Ability and the influence of Sir Argyll, he received early entry privilidge to the Academy.

Personal history
First Term: (1084 - 1088) 10 years old to 14 years old Imperial Military Academy. While there a sleeper Solsec Agent contacted him. The agent was telling him stories about the Solomani and how Earth needed to be liberated from the Imperium. Malcolm Estranged himself from his adopted family and Betrayed the Empire. Sir Argyll Cade thinks he was kidnapped by the Solsec. He Joined the Solomani Marines and was granted a commision at 14 years. He was Second Lieutennant Shepard.
Second Term: (1088-1092) 14 to 18 years old N7 Training, and service. Promoted to First Lieutennant.
Third Term (1092-1096) 18 to 22 years old Skyllian Blitz! Shepard rallied the colonists against the invaders, and when enemy forces broke through the colony's defenses, Shepard single-handedly held them off and sealed the breach. The Commander is rewarded with the Star of Terra and widely regarded throughout the Alliance as a true hero. He was instantly Pronoted to Lt Commander.
Fourth Term (1096-1100) 22 to 26 years old: Recon 2 Event on Planetary Assault. Promoted to Commander
Fifth Term (1100-1104) 26 to 30 years old: Captain Anderson takes an interest in him: Makes him XO of the Normandy at 29 yrs old. Events of Mass Effect: Promoted to SPECTRE. Becomes CO of Normandy. Defeats Saren And Sovereign. Dies scouting for Geth. Normandy SV1 Destroyed by Collectors. 1104-1106 Project Lazarus: Receives cybernetic augmentations from Cerberus. Revived By Cerberus.
Sixth Term (1104-1108) 30-34 years old Becomes Cerberus Agent (SOLSEC eq.). Destroys Collector Base and Steals Normandy SV2 from Cerberus. Destroys Mass Relay killing a planet of Batarians. Imprisoned for 6 months. Reaper War Starts when Home (Aldebaren 1009) is attacked.
Seventh Term: (1108-1110) Reaper War. Commander Shepard Destroys the Reapers. Though presumed dead, he is rescued by Commodore Bruce Cade and the rest of the Explorers of the Ancients when The Nameless Ship locates him in a crumbled part of the citadel.

Malcolm was brought home as a ward. Bruce and Malcolm became close and he followed Bruce's footsteps in joining the Imperial Navy Academy at a very early age.
