Dragons

Dragons were the first created beings in Améléam, and all dragons can trace their ancestry to two progenitors: Thundra and Sfindra. Thundra and Sfindra were Sabacha, great spirit beings, but took on the forms of dragons, having physical bodies and physical offspring. Modern dragons are not nearly as powerful or as noble as those first dragons, and there is great variation in their intelligence and power. Some are more like animals, while others possess the intelligence to rival that of men and mele; some can fly, and some have no wings; some control powerful magic, while others control none.

Basic Information

Dietary Needs and Habits

Dragons are carnivorous, preferring to eat grazing animals of appropriate size. They do not need to eat often and typically store their surplus food alive in part of their lair.

Additional Information

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Typically found in large numbers on the continent of Wenyona, dragons are known to inhabit most regions of the world, living isolated and lonely lives.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The dragons are gifted with many different abilities, all unique to the individual in combination and potency. Some have extraordinary sight, seeing into even the spiritual realms, while others are naturally blind. Nearly all control some level of magic, though for many it is trivial.
