Humans

Humans originated in the jungles of the southern islands, and seem to have migrated northwards around 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, especially in the east, where they formed their first empires and kingdoms under the influence of their serpent gods. After the fall of S'el most humans fell under the domination of the Salelkar Elves.  In the west, this is still the case, but in the east, the humans of The Great Kingdom threw off their Salelkar overlords. The most far-flung of human societies are The Rovers of the Barrens, who migrated into the far northern steppe.  Part of this group then migrated back south to found The Kingdom of Nyrond.
