The Mystral Isles

Geography

The Mystral Isles have long held the homes of the Wizard Lord Protectors of Raska and the geography reflects the magic that has seeped through them. Some flat, some rocky, mountanous or with a large plateau dominating. Even the climate feels different from island to island, from desert plateaus to a mountainous island locked in ice.

Fauna & Flora

Each island seems almost designed to have a separate microcosm of flora and fauna though the time spent abandoned seems to have weakened the magic that held it such. A hodgepodge of trees spread across the islands, grown from seeds blown over from their neighbors. The more extreme environmental conditions have normalized to the detriment of some plants but the benefit of others. Only one island appears untouched by this, the ice-locked mountains in the southwest.
Flora and fauna have been left to grow wild and the forests are teeming with life both bestial and monstrous and again spread throughout almost all the islands.
