A sweltering rust world with few water bodies,
Planetfall supports life - to a degree. This is the first world tamed by the
Hhrot Dominion, who have built extensive systems of camps, foundries and military training grounds, centered around their capital :
Blade's Edge, a fortress of steel and roaring forges. Flash floods do occur here, triggering celebrations known as the
Floodlights as Hhrot fill up their water tanks and essential underground rivers are replenished.
This untamed world is rich in easily accessible minerals and is rumoured to hold
Thaumium deposits. It is neatly cut up into sections given over to the oversight of individual Legions and subunits, but there are few roadways as gravshuttles are used instead. Large quadrupedal plumed predators and carnivorous sand worms are commonly found amongst the dunes of Planetfall. The Hhrot hero
Thaumium of the 3rd Legion made it straight from soldier to General after leading his platoon against one of the largest breeder sand worms, hunting and destroying it after 30 days of harrowing, glorious fighting.
