Ettelian Culture
Although Etteliani are individuals, originating from countless humanoid races, cultures, and worlds, as a group, they all belong to the same fundamental ethnicity that arose with the appearance of the first members of their kind. Since the beginning of time, there is an ancient Ettelian Culture that spans all of Niamaru. Newly awakened Etteliani are quickly adopted into this culture by an elder member, who is usually the one that discovered them. The elder gives the newborn Ettelian a Name and brings them to Elianno for introduction and tutelage on their newly found powers. It is customary for that elder to take responsibility for their charge until they feel ready to leave the Core and start to wander on their own. This bond usually remains strong for many millennia and sometimes forever, even as the new Ettelian grows in power and gains experience. As time passes, these bonds between individuals form long trees, which are regarded as separate Societies within the Ettelian Culture.
