Halflings

More or less, these are small Humans. They're known for their adaptability, survivability, and the capacity to live anywhere and breed with just about anything. 
As with humans, the accidental creation by Asmodeus meant their being is incomplete, and this allows for the adaptation and mixing. (This ultimately saved them and humans from being removed, they were too thoroughly woven into everything)
