Ugh, stupid midterms, I hate them, but, at least I have so much time to study, it helps.
Numerology: First one, and the all-nighter helped save my ass, but I definitely was not fully in the right mind for that test. (1/2 successes)

Years Past
Moving to the ring, its an opportunity to reflect on the past years. Year one, was a breath of fresh air, I was able to practice some actual power, and working on calligraphy was very relaxing, getting in touch with something that I would have learned in my years in the Stone Abbey, and those beautiful letters I wrote really made me feel happy.
Year two, learning more history, getting to learn about all the different magics and mages in the history of Anacra, getting to enjoy more spellcasting, more power, more knowledge was very nice. However finding so many people had no ambition was very disappointing, I hope some find their ambition soon.
Year three, getting to learn how to write runes was very nice, I found that my calligraphy was very helpful in getting the runes right, getting all the parts exactly how they needed to be, very satisfying. Some people have shown some ambition, Sventisko I think it was, I heard was becoming outspoken about people in power doing things, which I wholeheartedly approve of. Also, and no one must ever know about this, the cat in the library is pretty cute, and more enjoyable than most of the people.
Year four, learning about dawn magic, another type of power that I hope I can learn to draw into, to channel, and use for my own purposes. The cat however, suffered a horrendous scare at the hands of some useless alfar, Athalor or something, being set alight, thankfully unharmed though. My final project was trying to make dawn magic infused writing, to come up with ways to provide say, light when fire is not an option, or similar. The research was super amazing, I learned so much about how to make scrolls, how to imbue them with magic, and even how to put dawn magic into them! The magic itself was also easy enough to understand and work with, but imbuing it into the scroll proved somewhat challenging, writing the spell out, while having the magic ready, proved to be a complicated process. But, it did seem like the professors were impressed with the idea, so I'm happy with the results.
New Roommates
The Ring has thrown a lot of change into things, I wonder how many people will stumble because of it. Notably, the roommates situation, I managed to get a room with Zenna, who actually impressed me on the journey here, she was very competent. She does seem to be unsure about the water surrounding the house, but, I have more pressing people to put in their place, shes earned some good standing. Like that nerd in the Codex, who is always hanging around the main 4, Cryus or something. The rooms been remodelled into one like our homes in Stone Abbey, I may hate the culture, but the designs were beautiful, and that has seemed to help Zenna. Also I have yet to wake her through the nights, which is very nice considering I dont need sleep.
