Firbolg

To most people of Anacra, the Firbolg have no origin. They're as much part of the forests of the world as the fey, or the trees themselves. Giant blooded and fey touched, these reclusive folk can be found throughout the Mortal World and occasionally in The Otherworld. 
Firbolg are adapted to life in the deep forest. Though they stand between 7-8 feet tall and weigh between 240 and 300 lbs, they prove difficult to track due to their innate magic. Between short bursts of invisibility and certain illusory magicks, firbolgs are masters of evasion. 
Firbolgs have bluish skin or a thin covering of pale blue hair. They also have a pink nose and long ears. In addition to their blue coat of fur, most firbolgs sport a second coat of hair that covers their heads. Some firbolgs can grow beards with it as well.

Ecology and Habitats

Deep Forests. Firbolgs typically live in communities designed to blend into the forest, adapting exceedingly well and remaining hidden from outsiders to their communities. Their diets consist largely of foraged nuts, fruits and berries, supplemented with a small amount of meat. One Firbolg community requires a wide swathe of land, as they carefully avoid depleting their environs and practice very measured harvesting.
