Physical Description
General Physical Condition
- Color preferences? -- Jeremiah is most usually found manifesting as Caucasian with long blonde hair in a series of braids held together at the back in a queue and storm-blue eyes. He tends to be extremely pale with Scandinavian features.
- What do they smell like? -- Jeremiah likes conditioning oil that smells like tea tree, peppermint and cloves, so his hair often carries that scent. His body tends more toward a woodsy scent of pine needles and woodsmoke.
Identifying Characteristics
- What possession do they have that they are ashamed of? -- Jeremiah has tattooed his body in such a manner that it remains regardless of the form he takes on. While the tattoo itself doesn’t shame him, the memories behind it do: after a particularly raucous night, he and Akriel designed tattoos for each other. While Akriel’s tattoo has faded through several different physical presentations, Jeremiah’s remains and he suspects it’s because he invested more in their relationship emotionally than Akriel did.

- How would they cope with a sudden academic requirement? -- He’d be baffled why this was being required of him, then do his best without putting much study or effort into it. He’s smart enough and has enough background in military service that he would do fairly well on a generalized test. He could manage a simplistic research paper, but it wouldn’t be deeply insightful or anything.
Intellectual Characteristics
- How do they handle being lost? -- Being uncertain of his location makes Jeremiah really nervous and jumpy. He will do his best to stay calm and get back to familiar ground as soon as he can, but the longer he’s lost, the more skittish he gets until he straight-up panics. Panic attacks usually involve flying straight up and screaming a lot until he gets a grip again.
- How would they cope with being abducted by aliens? -- Keening and rocking in place, sheer panic and unmanly terror. The loss of control and uncertainty of the situation would completely break him and he does not deal well with loss of control.
- How present and aware are they? -- Jeremiah often lets his mind wander to more interesting things when he’s bored. His boredom tends to coincide with important informational briefings and instructions on how to operate various machinery.
- How impulsive are they? -- Extremely. When something comes into his mind, Jeremiah often acts on it before he’s considered all of the consequences, especially if there’s a pretty girl involved.
- How conscious are they of their physical needs? -- Clueless. Jeremiah is usually so busy thinking about other things that his physical needs tend to get forgotten and he’ll realize he’s gone all day without even sipping some water. He gets better after his fall, but that takes a while.
Morality & Philosophy
- How do they respond to those in need? -- It depends on the level of need. If someone is in a life-or-death situation and he can help, Jeremiah is there and ready to do whatever he has to to help. He’s excellent in stressful situations and emergencies but more mundane needs tend to fall under his radar.
- What are their moral priorities? -- Usually, Jeremiah focuses on what will keep him safe, then takes care of the people he cares about. If there’s threat to a larger group, he is less interested in the greater good and prefers to selfishly protect the people he loves.
- How comfortable are they with being petty or cruel? -- Pettiness comes fairly naturally to Jeremiah, especially if someone has insulted or otherwise wronged him. For that matter, cruelty comes easily to him, too. He doesn’t mind hurting other people when he feels like they deserve it, though he has started to pay attention to how his cavalier attitude toward suffering affects people around him and their perception of him.
- Under what circumstances would they appear naked in public? -- While Jeremiah isn’t particularly bodyshy, he prefers to wear sexy clothing to accent his assets rather than just baring it all. Being naked in public isn’t his strong suit and he would avoid it as much as he can.

- What are their food preferences? -- Jeremiah tends to enjoy richly flavored foods, especially red wine and steak. He also really loves berries, which means he’s in hog heaven in U.P. blueberry country.
- What irrationally irritates them? -- Random mouth noises. When someone clicks their tongue or makes smacking noises for no reason, it drives Jeremiah right up the wall. He’s okay with the little sounds that people make when they talk normally, but it’s the random noises when they’re thinking about something or bored that really bother him.
- What style music do they prefer? -- Jeremiah has a guilty pleasure in goth rock and metal. The Cure, Rasputina, Burning Effigy, and Danse Society are some of his favorites.
Hygiene
- How involved is their hygiene? -- Once a week, he will unbraid his hair, thoroughly scrub his scalp and then rebraid it after it dries. In between, he washes regularly, though he favors using scented scalp conditioning oil rather than shampoo or cream conditioner. He also spends about 45 minutes daily to comb and maintain his wings, keeps short, tidy nails, and generally presents himself as clean and orderly. Camping out is hard on him, as he has to work harder to keep himself tidy.

Family Ties
- How is their relationship with their parents? -- God has turned a blind eye on Jeremiah’s behavior for years and he takes it for what it is: complete lack of interest. It makes him a little bitter toward his father and has also moved him to push at boundaries to see if God really will ignore him if he keeps doing worse and worse things. He isn’t in full-blown rebellion, but he does toe the line a lot.
Social Aptitude
- How good are they with children and/or animals? -- Babies make Jeremiah really nervous: he’s afraid he’s going to mess up and break them. When they’re older, around five or so, he’s better with them but still tends to be uncertain and fidgety. He likes both dogs and cats, though cats like him better.
- How do they concern or terrify people who do not know them? -- Generally, Jeremiah comes across as friendly and helpful in most situations. The darker side of him comes when he shows how easily he’s willing to betray someone or lie to them to get what he wants. His weirdest moments come when he slips and says something unthinkingly cruel and has to backpedal to keep from looking sociopathic.
- How do they sabotage themselves? -- Jeremiah tends to approach all relationships as disposable. He tells lies freely, especially if they get him what he wants in the short-term and if the relationship lasts long enough to uncover the lies, he struggles to recover.
Relationships
History
Kyriel and Jeremiah were hatched into the same clutch and raised in a very small clutch of fledglings which included only one other. All three of them bonded very closely at first, until Radael showed signs of being capable of telekinesis. Radael was removed from the clutch and the remaining fledge mates bonded tightly, partially out of fear of losing each other.
