Crow Poem in An Aussie Author's Mental State | World Anvil

Crow Poem

There flies a black bird
Splitting apart the skies
The daylight fading on one side
The clouds on the other bringing night

Its black beak closed
Then it opens, sounding a cry
Loud across the skies
A warning of what's to come

Listen well, heed its call
Don't ignore it as the night falls
For the visitor doesn't like light
The predator has you within its sight
