The Sundering of Threads

When Arasta gazed too far into the Loom of Fate, she discovered a prophecy foretelling her own fall and the eventual unmaking of the gods. Terrified, she attempted to sever the strands of fate itself, hoping to change her destiny. This act angered the other Primes. Caudiel, Liupan, Varaal, and Annum sent their champions to bind her. In the battle that followed, Arasta shattered a piece of the moon and sealed her memory—and her most faithful followers—beneath the world in the Underdark. This event, known as The Sundering, marks the beginning of recorded time and the shift into Post Sundering (PS) reckoning.
