Ray
The Ray people are a very unique species. Starting soon after birth, their pale skin becomes luminescent and begins to show all the colors of the rainbow. These colors shift and change with their mood and so it is very difficult in Ray society to not wear your heart on your sleeve. Very few Ray have mastered their emotions enough not to show them on their skin. The Ray that choose to devote themselves to a god will primarily show the color that god is associated with, but will continue to show their emotions in small parts throughout their coloring.
Other than this unique trait, the Ray are a rather physically weak and frail people, and while not unintelligent, they also lack some quality of imagination that would make them great inventors or innovators. They know how to build simple structures and walls to keep out enemies, but beyond that they are simply at a loss. Simple tools, and simple hunting and gathering are all they are capable of on their own.
Those that haven't chosen a god are open, curious, out-going, and welcoming, though they tend to be very emotional and mercurial. Once they have chosen a god, they settle down some and take on many of the aspects of the god they have chosen to follow.

Covered in the different colors of the rainbow which shimmer across their skin. Once they have chosen a god, the shimmering color solidifies into the single color that represents their chosen God.
