Shademoor
A simple farming village in the shadow of Bare Rise Peak , Shademoor is the northernmost town of the kingdom; the edge of its surrounding land marking the reach of Avalyra. It is mostly populated with humans, farmers by and large.
History
Recently, a terrible fate befell the town. Now little more than a smoking ruin, Shademoor is abandoned. What few survivors there were fled south, telling tales of a terrifying winged beast with scales of blackest night coming down from the peak of Bare Rise and destroying the village.
Tourism
Being such a far flung town, they get little travel, their inn seeing little business besides the locals, and the blacksmith is more familiar with horseshoes than arms and armour.
