Early Ages
According to most myths the Forest Stalkers have existed since before written history. Because of this most scholars agree that the Plausible Forest is most likely just as old. Outsiders are not allowed in the forest without permission. One elven city, Brundlewind, was built inside the borders of the forests. It's ruins now stand as a reminder that the forest is off limits.
Refugees of the Lafaret Massacre
During the early stages of the Age of Darkness the people of Lafaret would stay peaceful. That is until the people were attacked by a nation of Amare. Having no where to go the people of the Island requested sanctuary in the forest. Seeing no harm in the addition of peaceful people the Stalkers accepted the people. And this union would eventually grow into the union between the Stalkers and the Druids.
War with the Outside World
After the Rebellion of Tantam the Humans of Amare began to fear that which they did not understand. Naturally they directed this fear at the Plausible Forest. The war of the Forest Folk was a brutal war that saw the loss of hundreds of Forest Walkers. However their sacrifices were not in vain. As the forest was properly defended. Their death led to forest monsters who now help protect the forest.
