Umar

Umar is the God of Work. He is a dwarven deity; besides Durathoin, Umar is one of the two primary, popular dwarven deities worshipped today by mountain dwarves and hill dwarves. Members of other races often view Umar as the embodiment of physical labor and self-sacrificial devotion to a slave-like work ethic, although to most dwarves he is a patron of masterful craftsmen and grand industrial accomplishments. Umar blesses and rewards devotion to one’s occupation and a feeling of pride towards labor. Like other dwarven deities, he is an unpopular subject of worship in non-dwarven communities.
