Silvanus is the God of Plants and Forests. Many mortals believe that his presence permeates all the woodlands of the world, and that felling a single living tree is like striking a wound in the god’s very own skin. Thus it is important to worship and pay tribute to Silvanus, for the exploitation of nature and its many plant-based resources is essential for most civilized cultures.
