The Linn
The Linn, the most expansive river basin in Northermark, originates in the Erodan highlands. Here, rain and melting snow carve their way through subterranean caverns, ultimately reaching the Mark as springs emerging from the Serpentine Depths. The Kingspawn and Running rivers merge into the Lower Linn, which flows from east to west. In contrast, the Boarwater feeds into the Upper Linn, traveling from north to south. The bustling metropolis of Linnburg, also known as the City of the Blue Sun, is situated at the juncture of these rivers. Beyond Linnburg, the combined waters form the Greater Linn, a formidable river that winds its way to the Linnwade, an extensive estuarine marsh. This natural sanctuary precedes the Linn's final journey into the Bay of Amlothim.
