Otherworldly Ticker
A strange mechanism made of gears and cogs encased in a silver and bronze colored case. It opens like a clam and features a panel of slightly curved glass over a display of strange symbols arranged around the outer edge of the inside face. Two bars—one longer than the other—pivot around the center at different speed and point out at the symbols.
While you are holding this ticker you know when it is precisely dawn, noon, sunset, and midnight.
This item has a total of 6 charges. While touching and attuned to the ticker, you can use an action to expend 1 or more charges to cast one of the following spells or abilities (save DC 18). The ticker regains 1d6 expended charges daily at dawn.
Mending (1 charge). As you cast this spell, the hands on the ticker begin to rapidly circle the opposite direction. At the end of the casting time, the hands are aligned where they left off and begin cirlcing in their normal direction. Quickened Spell (2 charges). As you spend the charges to use this ability, choose I spell that you know that has a casting time of 1 action. The casting time for that spell is changed to 1 bonus action. You must cast the spell this turn. Haste (3 charges). As you cast this spell, the hands on the ticker rotate much faster for the duration of the spell. ??? (6 charges + vial of fresh blood).
