21.0 - Riverbound Report

General Summary

Preserver, I was to speak with Altruist Corvis about his time with the rowdy group in the swamp. I've got further details for you.
They made camp at the center of the swamp and took off in the morning. Their goal was to make it to Sluttheyde before dark. Then from Sluttheyde, they'd head to Storhaven and take a boat Litsteivon to reach Riner Ild.
Which Altruist Corvis confirms their success up to Sluttheyde. They crossed Livetsflod River with a bit of magic and were begrudgingly granted a place to sleep for the night at Sluttheyde. Altruist Corvis says they were only granted refuge there once the half-man Holg showed the town's leader, Lycoos¹, the markings on his body and explained they had just come from Riner Ånd.
But a tent was about the only courtesy they were shown. The people there were pretty disgruntled that their holy burial ground was being dirtied by these outsiders.
Altruist Corvis has more to detail about a ceremony of sorts, more strange things the group did the next day, and, well, a strange sense of deja vu he has about the place, which I think you'll find particularly interesting Preserver. I'll write up a separate report.
Oh, also, if you'd be so kind to pay the invoice for our stay. I had enough coin for myself but I figured you'd want to keep Corvis safe, so I've taken him under my care. —Syl
