16.0 - The Servitor Report

General Summary

Save your spy the trouble next time, Ingen, and just ask me for a report. No need to distill the truth through extra parties.
It was early night of Flora Cycle Day 21. I was out on the courtyard balcony of Representative Rufus's manor with young Glitter—the exceptionally talented Nature Parr I'd taken under my care while her father fulfilled his services. And then, to my surprise, her father shows up, walking up the stairs to the balcony. I had no idea what brought him there, until I realized he was not alone.
The group that's been causing trouble and strife was there with him. I don't know what lies or temptations they offered Slayer Hearty Snowflake, but he seemed to think they could help him with getting his daughter "back". I feel there was a misunderstanding between myself and Slayer Hearty, or perhaps this group of criminals made him believe I had kidnapped his daughter.
Either way, Slayer Hearty demanded his daughter back. I didn't think it safe to do so. These people are responsible for the destruction of the Litenhavon lighthouse, are rumored to meddle with rifts, allied themselves with the Grey Cloak Bandits (you really should do something about the bandits, Ingen; it's truly your responsibility to clean up now.), and caused damage to several buildings in both Lyston and Hvithavon. I refused, and took a stand to protect young Glitter from these chaotic souls.
But they had a weapon I was not expecting. A very dangerous and powerful magic Vira sealed long ago. I did my best to stop them; to restrain them and bring them to justice. But I could not stop them, protect Glitter, and suppress the magic unleashed against me. They snatched the little tabaxi from my care and proceeded to rend the earth and topple the walls of the courtyard, blocking my path and giving them time to escape.
I needed to stay and help manage clean up and repairs. I sent a request to Liv for an Abolition Squad to hunt them down. I hope to have them apprehended before they cause more damage; more than they realize.
