15.0 - A Clear, Crystal Path Report

General Summary

Sorry, looks like I just missed them again. Though I don't believe they've gone far; they entered town on Day 20 and were gone by today¹. Spoke with the Guard who helped them, though obviously he didn't know who they were. I would've loved to speak longer with him, but the Servitor chased me away, saying he'd send his own report to you. I know you know, but I doubt whatever he says will be even close to the truth. Anyway, here's what I gathered from Guard Malik.
Malik was working his shift at the gate when they arrived late evening. He recognized the centaur—Atani—as his... "dream guide" from his dream² (I did cross-reference this man's information; if he's crazy he's also still right about the group's activities). They were still searched, but let through.
Malik ran into them again in the morning (day 21) at the Conchoidal Joint. He agreed to help them let the tabaxi see his daughter if they helped him learn more about how and why his dreams happened. So he took the night shift for Representative Paelias Rufus's manor that night. They tried to help him with his dreams, but to no avail. He still kept the Representative's courtyard gate unlocked for them, despite their failure.
He watched from the walls as they entered the courtyard and made their way to balcony with the young tabaxi girl and the Servitor.
And that's all I was able to get from Guard Malik before the Servitor intervened and took Malik away. Don't know what he's going to tell you in his "report", but I snuck a look at the damage to the manor. I know these people you have me following are supposed to be dangerous, but I don't believe they caused all the destruction in that courtyard or surrounding area.
I'll look for their trail in Nord Vineyard. Seems a likely destination.

[2]Request for research updates being conducted in Sun's Reach on strange dreams and hallucinations sent. Also, request for Guard Malik to be brought into that research sent, though I imagine I'll have to petition against the Servitor's wishes for anything to do with Guard Malik now.
