Fair Folk of the Shatterlands

  • Anjana - Anjana are beautiful, but diminutive (0.15 m) women with transparent wings and sweet voices. Their black or blue eyes shine with a bright light. They wear their black or blonde hair in braids, tied with multicoloured ribbons and a crown of wild flowes. They commonly wear a gossamer white tunic and a long blue cape. They wield sticks of wicker or hawthorn, which shimmer with a different shade each day, cycling through the 12 Gaoithe Sidhe. They see themselves as guardians of streams and forests, and are known for their kind and gentle nature. They are the natural enemies of the Ojáncanu.
  • Arquetu - A fae loanshark, who grants fortune, but brings poverty to those who squander it. He is represented by a green cross and seven keys, but appears in different forms.
  • Caballucos del Diablu - Nightmares with Dragonfly wings. Their saliva forms gold nuggets of incredible value, but with potent curses upon them.
  • Cuegle A three armed, humanoid monster with a large horn.
  • Cuélebre - Wyrms
  • Ojáncanu - Cyclopean giants of the Shatterlands, with a fearsome temperament. They sport long and wild long hair and beards. Then an Ojáncanu dies, the others disembowel the corpse and bury the remains under and oak or yew tree. Eventually, a new Ojáncanu will emerge from the grave. They are the enemies of the Anjanas and enjoy destruction, smashing cottages, uprooting trees and damming rivers.
  • Ramidreju - A weasel-like creature with boar-like tusks and green fur. It digs deep holes in search of gold and its fur has healing properties.
  • Trasgu - The Teuz of Asturias
  • Trenti - A green-eyed forest goblin, related to the Kriores. It likes to play pranks
  • Ventolín - The Tempestarii of the Shatterlands. They have green wings and subsist on a diet of fish.
