Merchant King Semyaza (a.k.a. The Queen of Pleasures)
Semyaza is a sultry, hard-working, and practical woman who has risen to the rank of Merchant King through her wit, perseverance, and hard work. She was born to a lesser merchant and his wife, who were having trouble conceiving or having healthy pregnancies. After two stillborns, her mother was overjoyed to have gotten pregnant again, and even though she gave birth to what some would call a devil-spawn, she refused to get rid of her. To them, Semyaza was their miracle child, regardless of her appearance.
She grew up immersed in her family's business, learning from her father. Her father had a mind for business, however he had terrible luck and also did not have quite the right personality for it. Many people bullied him or took advantage of him, and he could not bring himself to stand up to it. However, Semyaza took his lessons in trade and business, and as she grew up she applied them without mercy. She brought her family's business great success, and by the time she was fifteen, her father had passed over the business rights and responsibilities to her. With this, she rose to the rank of Merchant King by the age of twenty five, and has been defending that title for eight years now.

Lithe, slight, not very muscled. Semyaza had ebony skin, midnight hair, solid silver eyes, and is quite voluptuous and curvy. She exudes the slight smell of nutmeg and cedar, oddly enough, and is always dressed fashionably.

She has been in charge of this company since she was fifteen, and it has grown exponentially in the many years she has operated it. For eight years now, she has also been a Merchant King, so she oversees a good chunk of all the merchant companies within the city of Solterra.

She loves the city of Solterra so much. Enough to work from the light and the shadows. She believes that Solterra should become its own city state, as it has become a prominent gem of Teldemar all of its own. With this in mind, she strives to unite all of Solterra under one person (or united circle) so that they can move forwards with common goals.

Eltaor Hawthorne: Friendly enough, but she sees him as a naive little boy who depends on his mummy. She sees that he has the potential and the aptitude, but she plays it close to her chest with him, as she does not trust his mother.
Ambrose Reid: Find him utterly disgusting. He does not have a mind for business, but has his family's advisors do the hard work for him. She sees him as riding on the coattails of his predecessors, and she does not like when people are given anything without working for it. Would very much like to replace him as a Merchant King, preferably with someone she trusts.
