Morgran Torevir
Jarl Morgran Uldarch Torevir
The Jarl of Ironkeep, and close friend to King Melchor III. He is a gruff individual, and values martial prowess over magic, and is in charge of the mining of the Khazroldûr Mountains surrounding the Trystenglade Valley. Morgran keeps a large armed force for the defense of the Ironpass and keeping the many raiders in the mountains at bay.

Personal history
Morgran had a rich upbringing, having been the only son of the previous Jarl of Ironkeep. He is what is known as a Star Dwarf, which is an ancient and near extinct race of dwarves. They are said to be the First Dwarves. He was raised to be a fearless warrior and leader, and took over as Jarl of Ironkeep when his father was killed in a battle defending the Ironpass from giants, thirty years ago.
Morgran met King Melchor twenty five years ago when he had the young Prince visit as part of his education to learn about his country. When they first met, Morgran was convinced that Melchor was a sniveling, weak boy, but as he was visiting, there was an incursion of dark elves from below, and Melchor was one of the first to jump to action and help the mine workers and soldiers fend off the raid. With his prowess in battle, Morgran gained a newfound respect for the young lord, and after that encounter, he often fought side by side with the Prince in battles against goliath raiders, giant tribes, drow armies, and Hadar cultists.
