Aluth, Planet
Aluth is a terrestial planet within the Suuser System. The planet has an orbital range of 122 million km to Suus and has a surface area of 204 million km2. Its atmosphere is comprised of predominately oxygen and nitrogen and due to its vast amount of water and hospitable climate, Aluth is the only known planet in the unviverse that can sustain life.
Geography
The oceans of Aluth are designated by their hemispherical location. This is due to there being no continents large enough to divide two oceans physically, but with the great difference in climate across the different hemispheres. Namely the biting cold of the The Memnic Ocean compared to the sweltering heat of the The Pascal Ocean, and for the increased ease of navigation.
History
In the year 363,530 (±5,000 years) Before Intellectualism (B.I.), the desolate wasteland of Aluth was struck by a comet spanning approximately 26 km in diameter - Contremulus Phizog. The comet made landfall in the northwestern hemisphere of Aluth, and caused global, megathrust earthquakes. These earthquakes fractured the arid landscape of the planet. Thousands of caverns, ravines, and chasms tore through the crust; planetary rocks and chunks of the comet were jettisoned into the planet's atmosphere. Stemming from the impact zone were the fractures that penetrated the deepest into the planet; reaching all the way down into its core. From the depths of those fractures, the integral element of life was unearthed and slowly dispersed across the planet, that of manacules - now better known as just Mana. While the mana beneath the crust of the planet slowly propagated, two astronomical walls started to form, orbiting roughly 200,000 and 400,000 km above the planet. The stones thrust into orbit were not allowed to fall back to Aluth; as the metallic element of Lunarin Marvel that comprised the entirety of the Contremalium Phizog prevented them from doing so. It had melted from the impact and heat from the nearby star Suus, and briefly turned into a thick, viscous liquid. The now liquid Lunarin Marvel formed a web-like apparatus in each of the astronomical walls, and quickly returned to its hardened, solid form. This allowed all of the mana from within Aluth to stay within the planet, and as it was able to fully saturate the in-between region, the planet transformed and adapted to allow the developing and creation of life. The mana first sent the planet into a global ice-age. The mana when first emerging from the core is estimated to have been roughly 8,000°C but dropped to -200°C as it was continually exposed to Lunarin Marvel. While the mana chilled, chemicals within the planet’s mantle, coupled with the mana, and fragments of Lunarin Marvel allowed for the creation of water. The water became a glacial mass, estimated to be an average height of 8 km and spanned the entirety of the planet. The global ice age ended once the two astronomical walls became the moons Thymós and Lýpi. Due to continued exposure to the planet's mana, the Lunarin Marvel within the inner-most astronomical wall started to have a contractionary reaction. Until 281,700 (±50 years), the astronomical wall slowly lurched into itself. The binding web of Lunarin Marvel would melt into a semi-liquid state, and would absorb its connected stone into itself. The weaving web would slowly coalesce into itself, contracting into itself and forming a moon. It's material makeup a homogeneous mixture of Lunarin Marvel, stone, and mana; its surface a near unblemished soft white, spanning roughly 35 million km2 and would become the first moon within Aluth's orbit. All the while the inner astronomical wall steadily formed into Thymós, the outer wall experienced intermittent periods of contraction and expansion. As a majority of dispersed mana would be absorbed by the inner-astronomical wall, the mana that reached the outer-wall was inconsistent and weaker. Because of this, the outer moon would eventually fully coalesce in 253,690 B.I. (±10 years). Compared to the smooth surface of Thymós, the outer moon of Lýpi is postmarked with jagged outcrops and deep valleys. The newly formed moon maintains an unnerving light, off-blue colouration and is less than half of Thymós’ size with a surface area of approximately 11 million km2. With the astronomical walls now formed into the binary moons, the irradiated Suuser rays shone once again on the surface of Aluth. The planet-wide glacier would slowly melt away as openings gradually opened up from the veil of the walls. The first areas to melt became filled with mana-infused water and would form the basis for its oceans. Deep and vast chasms and ravines caused the trenches and depths of the ocean to extend beyond the planet's crust and into its mantle. Furthermore, due to such immense cavities across Aluth's surface, the ocean would only cover 40.2%. The remaining 59.8% consisted of a singular supercontinent centered in the southeastern hemisphere, known as Adan. From a cycle now known as the “Atmospheric-Mana Enrichment Cycle”, the mana-dense air between the astronomical walls and Aluth's surface created an atmosphere. The once lifeless land now bore life to fledgling flora. Yet in two locations on opposing sides of the planet, unique environments were created - either at an unparalleled rate or to have been thawed from the global glacier itself is unknown. The KASOS FOREST adorns the northwestern part of the continent and is densely filled with Lunar Sequoia - trees that grew to an average of 700 ft with Lunarin Marvel interwoven within its core and emits a bone chilling cold. While The Tötenmeer extends its prominence across the southeast, its pristine, soft, blue-ish white sand was in constant motion - its dunes and valleys rippling like waves. Intertwined with the sand are rippling streaks of semi-liquid Lunarin Marvel, but uniquely would be various shades of purple rather than light blue. Eventually, once the flora had expanded and covered almost the entirety of the continent, and as they were able to create and produce the elements required for a breathable atmosphere, the environment for life has been created
