Primals

Not much is known about these mysterious beings who were the first inhabitants of Altheran. Where they descendants of the Eternal Gods, created by them or maybe rivals from beyond the world? They had a big part in the creation of the the world as is it today and are rumored to be the figurative parents of many of the current races in the world.

They were not numerous and probably a maximum of a few dozen at a time existed. All of them where very powerful and would probably be called Ascendants in the current era.

Some Primals specialized in creating and manipulating the flesh, others where masters of transformation of the material.

It is speculated that some of the gods where once Primals. What happened to the others is unknown.

People who have seen a Primal describe them as big and powerful beings (4-7 meters tall), always with four arms, of which two are primary and two are secondary /smaller (below the primary arms). Each limb has an extra join. Some have two or even four extra limbs from shoulders (tentacles mostly). They have a big square face with 4 eyes (2 primary, 2 secondary).
