Overgods

The Overgods are usually not the primary god for most people but are acknowledged by all

• Asmodeus, King of Hell, lawful evil overgod of tyranny, indulgence and cunning, archdevil
• Primus, the Engineer, lawful neutral overgod of planning, design, creation
• Supreme Virtue, lawful good overgod of righteousness, life and peace
• Elder Evils from the Far Realms, chaotic neutral/evil primordial powers from outside Altheran

Major Gods

There are 13 major gods who are widely worshipped in most lands of Altheran

• Altaira the Mother, neutral good goddess of fertility, nature, harvest, motherhood
• Apsalan the Shadow, chaotic neutral goddess of thievery, traps and shadows
• Bane the Tyrant, lawful evil god of ruling, oppression, ambition and control
• Baran the Mage, neutral god of magic
• Celdaman the Crafter, neutral god of crafting, smithing and inventions
• Kalavor, Keeper of the Dead, lawful neutral god of death
• Kyla the Rose, chaotic good goddess of beauty, life and light
• Orman the Sage, neutral god of knowledge and wisdom
• Shoran the Dispoiler, neutral evil god of decay and violence
• The Twins of Mis-Fortune, chaotic neutral god and goddess of luck and mischief. One personifies luck, the other misfortune, but it's not clear who is who.
• Torin the Just, lawful god of law, justice and the sun
• Tyana the Mad, chaotic evil goddess of madness, hopelessness and loss
• Welken the Trader, lawful neutral god of wealth, trade and diplomacy

Lesser Gods

There are countless lesser gods, some rival the Major gods in power and followers and some might only have a handful of worshippers in a small area. This includes Ascendants that are starting on the path of godhood and have enough worshippers to actually gain power from them (and give power back in return).

• Fethara the Seer, neutral goddess of the truth and vision
• Lyania the Healer , neutral good goddess of healing
• Sister of the Night , chaotic good goddess of the night, moon and stars
• Tiamat, the Chromatic Dragon, evil goddess of all evil dragons and dragonkin
• Tokar the Judge, lawful neutral god of judgement
