Diasomig

Appearance

Diasomig is depicted as a beautiful, seductive Myrenvellian female. Her statue is adorned with an ornate dagger, as well as a symbol of a white crescent moon, with a single drop of blood hanging from the top point.

Diasomite Baptism

Baptism is not required in order to be a follower of any particular god. However, anyone who wishes to officially enter a faith community or become Devoted may partake in the baptism ritual of the diety they wish to follow. (NOTE: It is highly suggested to roleplay a baptism when gaining the Devotion ability from Way of the Faithful, but it is not required)
A candidate who wishes to be baptized in the name of Diasomig will do so under a crescent moon. A waxing crescent moon is favored, but either kind of crescent is acceptible. The candidate will lie on the ground in a wooded area (preferably), making sure the faint light of the moon can reach at least their face.
The sponsoring Diasomite who is inducting the candidate will say some words about Diasomig and the nature of the faith. Then, while reciting the tenets, they will use a dagger to draw some blood from themselves (usually from a hand). The candidate will repeat each tenet in turn, while the blood is placed on their forehead and the sponsor swipes the shape of the crescent moon using the blood.
When the candidate rises from the ground they are now a Diasomite.
