Commander Horatio Woods
Horatio Woods was the grandson of the distinguished military commander Alain Woods.
He dedicated his life to serving the Tyrian Army, eventually rising up to the rank of Commander.
Due to the defeat his grandfather suffered in the Alterian Secession War, which cost Tyria the majority of its territory in the south, Horatio dedicated his life to ridding his family name of the shame.
His greatest achievement in life was fighting in The Mage Liberation War, where he secured several important victories, that eventually led to Tyria's victory.
He died on a mission to investigate the appearances of Demons in Kintara Forest, around the village of Sloot.
Unbeknownst to many, he was assassinated by a member of the first heroic party, Tully Tealeaf.
He had one son, Vargo Woods, with his wife, Nella.
