Death and the Afterlife
All beings die. That is the way of the world. The druids maintain that the natural cycle of death feeding new life is what keeps the multiverse in motion and continues existence as it is known. Morvek, God of Death's clerics state that it is the constancy of death that ensures the value of experience. On the other hand, Vas-Jaron, Deity of Secrets, The Inner Path, and The Einior Council encourage their followers to escape the mortal coil through undeath.
No matter who you are, death is an eternal companion and the mysteries it holds are ones not many are excited to explore. Some of what is known is described below:

- There is an afterlife.
- The soul travels to The Necropolis after death.
- Morvek, God of Death and his judges evaluate a soul to understand where it should be sent.
- If the soul worshipped an extant god in life, it is sent to live in that god's divine realm.
- If the soul did not worship an extant god, but did was faithful; or held faith in a constant ideal or alignment, it is sent to become raw soul-stuff on a plane that matches its alignment.
- If the soul neither worshipped a god, nor held constant faith or if the soul is contested, it remains in The Necropolis and is broken down into raw soul-stuff which is recycled into the building materials for the city of the dead.
