Too Wyrd Excerpt
Odin's Ravens, Huginn & Muninn, are travellers, moving throughout the Nine Worlds to find information for Odin. They travel constantly and return to Odin only once per day to whisper in his ear what they have learned.
“We are Huginn” said the bluish one, shaking its feathers, “and Muninn,” the reddish bird ruffled its feathers. “Servants of the Alfodr.”
The two birds bowed, spreading their wings and bobbing their heads down.
“You are Odin's Ravens?” I asked, disbelief leaking into my tone.

Physical Description
Facial Features
In their humanoid form, they have sharp, narrow faces with too-long noses.
Identifying Characteristics
Their color was a deep black with blue and red highlights, like a colored aura around the dark feathers.

Additionally, Huginn & Muninn are slightly larger than normal for a raven, though not enough that it is really noticable.
Physical quirks
They often bob their heads and hop around while speaking.
Special abilities
The ravens have, over the centuries, developed the ability to shapeshift into the twins. This is not an innate ability and is related to the necessities of acting as Odin's messangers.
The twins are androgynous of face, though their bodies are those of extremely thin, young males. They have long black hair and glinting black eyes. When the twins stand side-by-side or back-to-back and rotate outward, they can create between themselves a portal through which Gods and God-creatures can travel. This makes them doubly effective as messangers.
The ravens can also travel into the Astral plane, as their ability to travel allows them access to all places. Odin and the Valkyries are ignorant of this ability, and the ravens are adamant that it be kept from them, since the gods would simply work the ravens harder to utilize it. This is the only way in which the ravens seem to be anything less than completely loyal and happy with their association with Odin.
