Famine and overcrowding in the Nekomata Islands lead many to emigrate from the islands. They migrate all across Altairus, bringing their unique culture and technological advances with them. It isn't long before the Circus of Shadows took notice of their unique magical abilities and began coaxing them into joining the circus. With the help of their new friends, the Circus of Shadows debuted the Dark Carnival only a few years later.
