Snotter Snail
Snotter Ivy Skullcap (a.k.a. Snotter Snail)
Snotter Snail (スノッタ [Sunotta]) is the main character of the first of the Jack Thunder n' Friends picture books, "Jack Thunder and the Snotty Snail." She is a rather temperamental faery snail that spits gobs of mucus out of her mouth when she loses her temper.
Later, in the fourth installment of "Jack Thunder and the Fragments of Anima," she becomes the new wielder of the Earth Fragment Terra and joins Jack Thunder on his quest to defeat the Heart of Darkness.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
In "Jack Thunder and the Snotty Snail," Snotter is strong, but not in very good physical shape. She is in better shape in "Book 4: Earth," since she has been undergoing intensive guardian training. While not visible in the cover, her shell has also become cracked from a training injury.
Body Features
She always has her light pink snail shell on her back except when she goes down for the night. When Jack Thunder meets her for the second time, she has grown out a few tendrils on her head to where they resemble dreadlocks.
Physical quirks
Whenever she gets particularly upset, she spits gobs of slime out of her mouth. As you can expect, this doesn't endear her to other residents of the Emerald Woodland. She more or less stopped doing this before the events of "Book 4: Earth."
Apparel & Accessories
In "Jack Thunder and the Snotty Snail," she wears a grey sweater, grey pants, and light pink boots. Later, in "Book 4: Earth," she wears the standard armor of Ygdrassil's personal guard; armor made of tree bark and leaves. She also wears a pink-and-white striped scarf and a light pink headband with the symbol of Earth on the front.
Specialized Equipment
Snotter is the wielder of Terra. The broad axe allows her to heal those around her as well as create earthquakes and creeping vines.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
When Jack Thunder met Snotter, she was living by herself in a house cut out of a rock face, where she spent her days tending to her mushroom garden in solitude. After it is destroyed in a storm, the then ten-year-old Jack Thunder helped her repair it.
In "Jack Thunder and the Fragments of Anima," he meets with her again while the team is searching the Emerald Woodland for the Earth Fragment. She reveals that she has since sold her home and began training to become one of Ygdrassil's personal guards.
Education
Sometime after the events of "Jack Thunder and the Snotty Snail," Snotter began training to become a grove guardian. Scylla, the dragoness from the first installment, is her mentor.

Virtues & Personality perks
Vices & Personality flaws
Her tendency to get upset easily and spit gobs of mucus when upset drives others away and fails to solve her problems.
Hygiene
Snotter's hygiene is not the best. Then again, it doesn't have to be, considering that she's a snail and her job involves her being very close to the element of Earth.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Social Aptitude
Snotter is not the most socially competent creature, losing her temper easily.
Hobbies & Pets
The mushrooms in her garden are the only friends she has
Speech
Her voice is gruff and tomboyish. It is similar in cadence to that of Sunset Shimmer. Because of her bad attitude, she is constantly yelling.
