Aruberry Appetite Tea

Aruberry Appetite Tea is a traditional herbal remedy commonly used throughout Altairus. It takes the form of a fruit tea consisting mainly of aruberries; small, red, cranberry-like berries that are known for their appetite-inducing and inflammation-reducing properties.

It is noted to have a fruity and somewhat spicy flavor.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Aruberry tea is named for the main ingredient, aruberries, which are known to have appetite stimulating and anti-inflammatory propterties. Other herbs known for these properties are mixed in as well.

There do exist stronger variants of this remedy that healers administer in hospitals. Rather than raw aruberries, these potions use aruberry extract, which is six times as powerful as raw aruberries. They often include cannabis in their mix as well. These remedies are much stronger than the at-home version of the tea and are administered to critically ill patients who won't eat.

Manufacturing process

This remedy is prepared much like an herbal tea. You would blend all ingredients together and steep 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces of boiling water. The recommended steep time is 3-5 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the remedy will be.

Rarity

Being that aruberries thrive in taiga/boreal biomes, this remedy is more commonly known in far northern areas of Altairus, including the Razorfrost Taiga, where aruberries grow naturally.
