Personal history

Xander Brook was born into a cult dedicated to the goddess Mafesta. The cult is ancient and does no longer exist, it is believed Xander was the last remaning member of the Creed of Mafesta. The circumstance of Xander's birth is still a mystery as his mother was a young woman barely 16 years old when he was born and was groomed to be a speaker of the void, she also never had a lover. Because of the circumstances around Xander's birth and race it was believed he was born from divine intervention by Mafesta. His divine birth gave Xander a dream life in the cult and he was often proclaimed to be a chosen of Mafesta. It was later in his life when he had reached adulthood that he would learn magic and become an apprentice of Uzaris Darch. His apprenticeship started around the same time no more word came from the Creed of Mafesta.
Xander Brook was trained for many decades by Uzaris and learned the secrets of necromancy alongside the arts of magical inventions. During his lifetime he would produce many unholy creations and spells like the Necrotic Bombs used by the Brotherhood of the Void. Uzaris grew fond of Xander and thought him almost everything he knew, this however would be his downfall. Uzaris was close to lichdom through his research, but was fooled by Xander when he was about to perform the last ritual to transform into a lich. Xander had slowly been modifying his notes and manipulated the arcane script. When Uzaris completed the ritual he had become a nothic instead of the powerful lich he had hoped to become. The aftermath of Xander's betrayal left Xander more powerful than ever and Uzaris swore revenge upon Xander.

Education

Xander recieved training from Uzaris Darch in all forms of magic but mainly necromancy.

It was spectulated Xander Brook was one of the greatest minds when it came to magica inventions focused on undeath and necromancy. He was also one of the few people who could read Dentreene.
