Druun metal has many of the characteristics of obsidian. It is jet black, but slightly translucent like stained glass. Purple veins can also be seen when the druun metal reflects lights.

Druun metal is very magical because of a few things. The metal itself is like a magnet for netherflum which makes its easy to infuse the metal with it. The metal itself also has adamantine level of strength and is believed to contain some traces of if.
Geology & Geography
Druun metal is mostly found within the underdark and its main mining spot is the city Druunheim.
Origin & Source
It is believed that druun heim was magically created in the underdark either by the drow or by circumstances and the high intensity of netherflum which once was present in the underdark. Some spires or stalagmites can be found throughout the underdark with this very rare mineral, with the biggest spire being The Stalagmite in Druunheim.

Trade & Market
Druun metal is very exotic and rare, the biggest deposit of it is also located in Druunheim where it is being studied and used by the duergar who lives there. The people in Druunheim rarely sells it to outsider and most of it is being hoarded within the city.
