Shield Peaks
The Shield Peaks is the highest natural wonder in the world. It has an elevation of 50,004" 2'. At the very peak of The Shield Peaks is an Aarakocra. It was founded when Salinda visited the weak and young Aarakocra tribes in bodiy form in 15 YoTD. She taught them of healing and prosperity, blessing them with life and leads them to new land.
The village was founded along the highest point of The Shield Peaks, expanding multiple peaks and valleys, and is large enough to hold around 20,000 Aarakocra. The Aarakocra of the village prefer to exist on their own, although from time to time members of the village do travel down to the places below.
Given how many grew up at such a high elevation, sometimes they have to adjust to the different oxygen levels of the places below the peaks.
