Hesperonis; God of The Ocean (Hes-per-ronis)

God of The Ocean, Wind & Sailing; is the god of the sailors, he controls the tides, the waves, and the wind over his oceans.  
He is an ever swaying god, his allegiance is often changing, one day he crushes a ship of pirates to the bottom of his oceans in a violent storm, yet another he changes the tides swiftly to steer a trading ship straight into a pirate trap.  His followers are any who dare to venture out into the sea, pirates, merchants and adventurers alike, as well as all coastal towns having learned to respect the power of the ocean.  His followers are accustomed to many kinds of sacrifices and tributes some superstition, and some proven to help.  The most experienced of his followers knows exactly how to calm a storm and save there boat.
He is the son of Roth; God of Truth and husband to Claria; Goddess of Love, devoutly devoted in an open union, he defied his father to protect his love when she fathered the child of a demon, a decision that lead to one of the largest wars the gods have had, reaching into the mortal realm.   
He is a god who wants nothing more or less then his freedom, and the freedom of all across the land, he has a strong hatred for slavers or any who seek to take freedom from others.  He uses many tactics to deal with these folk, but he saves him monstrous beasts of the deep for the worst offenders.  That said there are creatures in the deep even Hesperonis cannot control.
