The Confluence was a multiplanar disaster that altered the Aloran forever

During the Divine Age, Gods freely traveled back and forth between the planes as they wished. Unbeknownst to the Gods, the constant travel back and forth, as well as the sheer amount of energy being kept in Aloran, caused the walls between the planes to become paper thin. Things were okay until one day a wizard named Samuel Hyleer was conducting an experiment that went terribly wrong and severely damaged the walls between the planes. Rifts to various planes opened all over the place and armies of demons, devils, and angels streamed forth to wage war on each other as well as anything else that got in the way. At the same time, this sundering of the barrier between the planes caused a war to break out between the Gods as well. Both the Lunar Gods and the Hero Gods had to expend all their energy to keep Baliton contained and just hope that the chaos becomes resolved quickly. Their hopes did not come to be. The War of the Gods, as it would later be called, waged on for 150 years until a greater threat emerged. As all the Gods were either fighting or keeping Baliton contained no one noticed all the energy being thrown about caught the attention of a being that even gods fear, Irasil, The End. Irasil is one of the first Tarrasque to exist in the multiverse. Over the years of his life, he grew to a massive size, even for a Tarrasque, as well as becoming incredibly intelligent, the ability to traverse the Multiverse, to an ability to communicate telepathically, and great elemental powers gained from the past universes he destroyed. This new threat was more than enough to cause the Gods of Aloran to call a truce and band together. The armies of mortals, angels, devils, and demons marched alongside their gods to fight this threat on the continent of Calora. After two years of fighting Irasil, several Gods alongside the council of the Tal Moorell met to discuss the possibility that they might not be able to kill the Tarrasque. After much discussion, they decided upon imprisoning Irasil on the Shackled Isles. The Gods expanded upon the small extra-planar prison the Tal Moorell built until it was a plane of is own. In one final push, the forces of Aloran managed to weaken Irasil enough to imprison Irasil on one of the Shackled Isles using miles upon miles of massive chains covered in heavy enchantments. At the end of it all the Gods agreed to go back to their respective planes and help the Tal Moorell repair the barriers between the planes and to never cross over into Aloran again leaving only the Lunar and the Hero Gods there to contain Baliton. After the Celestial Wall as built the world of Aloran was forever changed, the Gods that used to walk among the mortals were locked out, the continent of Calora was split into two in the battle against Irasil, kingdoms had fallen either in the War of the Gods or in the final battle becoming known as the Death of Calora and it was the dawn of a new age
