The creation of Aloran and the four moons

In the beginning there were four sibling Gods. The Hero Gods Arkash, Sypatha, Maldune, and Erayis (oldest to youngest) decided to create something, a world with which they could create great things and test their imagination. Unbeknownst to the gods as they wove the plane into existence there hid an evil malevolent elder god called Baliton who wished to take this new creation for himself to corrupt it and watch the chaos consume it. Just as they finished constructing the World, Baliton attacked. The battle between Baliton and the hero gods lasted a millennia and eventually the Hero Gods managed to trap Baliton in the World they built at the cost of themselves. The four Gods are forced to focus almost all their attention and power into holding Baliton in his cage or else their creation, and quite possibly themselves would be destroyed. Arkash became the sun and used his powers to rejuvinate the other three as well as keep the prison safe from forces seeking to free Baliton, Maldune became the stone and soil and used his powers to be the bars of Baliton's cage, Sypatha became the Ocean and Seas and used her powers to keep her brother safe as well as add her power to his, and the youngest, Erayis became the air to help hold the whole thing together. Just before they were trapped as eternal Wardens they all created children. Arkash and a daughter Pyruna, Sypatha had a son Aqorus, Maldune had a daughter Ailana, and Erayis had a son Hatharen. These children, Divine beings of Primordial elemental power, became the moons to watch over their parents creation and carry out their commands for them. They each claimed a season in which they will be the one to gaze on the planet while other three rested and carried out tasks for there was a World that must be looked after.
