The War of Faith

During the Divine Age on the continent of Norell all-out war broke out. It all started on one fateful day when a summit of the leaders of the Temple Cities ended in tragedy. Mid-meeting the guards outside the chamber began hearing yelling, nothing uncommon considering how the meeting was going, followed by a different sound, the sound of furniture being thrown around and violence. Before the guards could investigate there was an explosion inside the room that blew all 12 doors to the room off their hinges and actually caused the metal on one of the walls to mostly melt off. What happened next is the armies of each city geared for war. Each city brought something to the battles they fought and things were relatively at a standstill until one last battle. In a moment of pure coincidence, the armies of five of the six temple cities all marched upon Kevelon, the temple city of Kevella. The following battle was terrible. Once the armies broke through the walls on their side, the armies made the city their battlefield as they slaughtered innocents and fought against each other. As the blade cut down the last follower of Kevella in the entire city, there was a cry of pain...of fury.....of vengeance that was not only heard by every single soldier at that battle but also by every one of the temple cities. In a moment of divine wrath Kevella herself, with a bit of aid from Kelune, extinguished the lives of every single soldier there, leaving her city devoid of all life. It was now that the temple cities came together again this time united. They built a huge city on the site of Kevelon which they would call Unitas. Unitas would serve as both a monument to those that died as well as something to bring the temple cities together and prevent another atrocity like this from happening again
