The Conquest of Salorun

As the Warriors of the Purifying Blade grew in power after their victory over the Tal Moorell they began to seek more. They soon set their eyes upon the fortress-monastery of Salorun, home of the legendary Salorun mage monks. Their fortifications and location made them an ideal base for the Purifying Blade. So again the forces of the Purifying Blade marched as a single unified force upon their enemy, magic. For 12 days and 12 nights they laid siege on Salorun until finally, they broke through. The Purifying Blade slaughtered every last man, woman, and child they came across as they claimed Salorun as theirs. When dawn broke the fortress was theirs.

After its conquest, the city was renamed Puranith and became the headquarters of the Purifying Blade.
